Nasib tidak menyebelahi buat Sissy Iman apabila disingkir Ahad lalu dalam program Big Stage. Konsert minggu keempat itu menyaksikan penyanyi muda itu menyanyikan lagi Mas Idayu, namun dikritik teruk oleh penyanyi asal itu. Menurut Mas Idayu, penyanyi itu tidak mempunyai identiti sendiri.

Terbaru, Sissy memberi penjelasan mengapa dia tidak menyanyikan versi sendiri. Menurutnya, dia menghormati susunan lagu yang asli. Tambahan dia turut buktikan mampu nyanyi lagu itu versi lain. Macam sedap juga dengar versi jazz ini.

Salam , hi everyone ! I think I owe an explaination to the public cause everyone has been asking me the same thing including Tokti @ctdk and mummy Mas Idayu . So , just to clarify things of why I didn’t change the arrangement to suit my style of singing , it is because with all due respect to the theme which is “tapi bukan aku” , with suggestion from the production and discussion with the MD also Ernie , we decided to stick to the original essence of the song.

I think people would already notice by now I tend to make improvisation that suit my style of singing . That’s what I’ve been doing all these while . But I think I have to respect the genre and keep the lenggok close to the original .. and everyone would notice that my style of singing definitely won’t blend with dangdut , that’s why I decided to tune my style of singing . I thought that was exactly the definition of “tapi bukan aku” , which to do changes 360 degree ..

And to respect the view of people out there who think I disrespect the second week song which I totally make it my own , I try to understand better and try to deliver last night as close to the original .. I think its kinda not right to change the dangdut arrangement to something else to suit my vocal .. well I would do it in some other week but it will not be applicable to this week theme which is “tapi bukan aku” .. I hope this would clear the air .

Terimalah , jika semalam temanya ialah “Aku” this would be the kinda version I’ll potray of Senggol-senggolan , cubit-cubitan . But for the fact I recorded only one take with my crazy @shaffiqerwin .. Maafkan la pitch pitch itew kerana sedang menahan gelak HAHAHAHAH .
